1/2 in (12.5mm) NFPA rated Kernmantle Rescue Rope

(4) Rescue Static-Pro Lifelines 1/2 in (12.5mm) made of 100% High Tenacity Polyester (HTP) fiber. It is a kernmantle rope, with an interior core that provides tensile strength, surrounded by a woven exterior sheath designed for optimal strength, flexibility and durability. Engineered with very low-stretch capability, so that at 300 lbf, stretch is less than 2%. Great choice for long rappels, high lines, and many mechanical advantage haul systems. Polyester fiber ropes resist acids better than nylon, preferred for acidic environments.

If the rope gets wet, there is no increase in weight or loss of strength due to properties of the polyester fibers.
