Notes from contracted mechanic 7/27/26:

"The biggest issue is that the motor has reached the end of its service life. Typically an ISL requires an in frame overhaul at 7,000-8,000 hours. The engine is in need of this work. An approximate cost of this repair would be $25,000. On the positive side, the engine was maintained to frontline service unit this year. While the truck was here in March, I did a general inspection, basic service, and a NYSI. The engine at that time had no notable issue other than the known excessive blow by of the motor. The only other thing the potential buyer may ask for is a current pump test. That would not be an issue to perform. I do not see any reasons why the engine would not pass the test. If there are any further questions feel free to ask and I will answer them the best I can."
