2001 Chevrolet Tahoe Command Vehicle w/ Complete HURST 5,000 PSI Rescue System
This 2001 Chevrolet Tahoe 4x4 Command Vehicle is a former chief's vehicle that comes equipped with a complete HURST 5,000 PSI hydraulic rescue package, making it an excellent value for a department looking for a command vehicle, rescue support unit, or mobile extrication platform.
The Tahoe has approximately 84,000 miles (TMU due to an intermittent instrument cluster/dashboard power issue) and has been maintained throughout its service life. It is powered by the dependable 5.3L Vortec V8 paired with an automatic transmission and 4-wheel drive, with the engine, transmission, and drivetrain reported to be operating well. A new battery has recently been installed, and the vehicle has been serviced. It is still being used on a weekly basis.
The emergency equipment remains installed, including the light bar, siren, UHF/high-band radio, and built-in battery charger, making it easy to place back into service if desired.
